Sir Patrick Stewart is one of the most acclaimed and popular performers of stage and screen today. The lucky winner of this lot will have the remarkable opportunity to meet and lunch with Sir Patrick, the award winning star of Waiting for Godot, X-Men, and Honor Associate Artist of the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Sir Patrick’s remarkable career will see a return to series television starring as the title character in Blunt Talk in 2015, and has two films for release in 2015 Stuck, in which a power outage traps six different groups of New Yorkers inside elevators on Christmas Eve; and the recently wrapped Green Room, directed by Jeremy Saulnier.

Stewart was last seen reprising his role as Professor Charles Xavier in the huge summer blockbuster, X-Men: Days of Future Past. Perhaps best known as Captain Jean-Luc Picard of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Stewart has enjoyed a successful film and television career, earning Golden Globe, Emmy and SAG Award nominations. Screen appearances include King of Texas, Jeffrey, Dune, Excalibur, L.A. Story, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Conspiracy Theory, Extras(for which he earned an Emmy nomination),The Lion in Winter, I, Claudius, and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. In Fall 2013, Stewart returned to the Broadway stage starring opposite Sir Ian McKellen in repertory productions of Harold Pinter's No Man's Land, which they first performed during a sold out run at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, and Samuel Beckett's Waiting For Godot.

Stewart is an Honorary Associate Artist with the RSC, having appeared in over 60 productions including, most recently, a 2008 production of Hamlet, opposite David Tennant, which earned him an Olivier Award, and 2005 repertory productions of Antony and Cleopatra and The Tempest. In the 2001 New Years' Honours list, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth conferred on Patrick the order of the Officer of the British Empire (O.B.E.) and in 2010 Patrick received a knighthood for his services to Drama.

In 2015, Stewart is set to release 3 films including Match, in which he plays Toby, a Juilliard ballet teacher trapped in his New York apartment by a young couple who are not what they seem. Match releases on January 14, 2015,

The lot cannot be resold or re-auctioned. Lunch will be provided for one guest at a location to be agreed by both parties. Any travel and accommodation for the attendees shall be the buyers responsibility. You will be asked to disclose the names of those joining in the experience which will be given to the artist. All experiences are subject to approval by the artist. The charity and FT retain the ability to cancel and refund any successful auction bid which is declined by the artist. Lunch should be redeemed between April and 1st September 2015 at a date mutually agreed upon by both parties. You are bidding for the unique opportunity to lunch with one of the individuals listed.
